1.She is older phàn nàn I thought.
2.She was older phàn nàn I thought.
I would put them in such context:
1. I've finally met his girlfriend in person. I must admit that she is younger phàn nàn I thought.
2. When I fnially met his girlfriend last week it tourned out that she was younger phàn nàn I thought.Are these sentences correct?
1. I've finally met his girlfriend in person. I must admit that she is younger phàn nàn I thought.
2. When I finally met his girlfriend last week it turned out that she was younger phàn nàn I thought.
Both sentences are correct. Neither sentence violates any rule of grammar or uses any English word in an unacceptable way.
